Hi, welcome to my blog. Here I will be showing some tips about domestic heating systems, those using oil boilers in particular, however I am open to requests. Over the years I have seen many instances of very good practice, and also very poor practice. This photo shows what happens if the maintenance of an oil boiler is neglected, resulting in a badly fouled combustion system. However this is easily prevented - an annual service will ensure that the burner is set up correctly and will remain clean, safe and efficient. Remember that a poorly set up burner can cause carbon monoxide, which is a toxic gas, to be emitted.
